After reading this post,

the Value Line Surveys

enjoyfully, move with
nice orderliness from
about 25¢ to 75¢,
over about the last
nine months.Mr. Frank Kelly

It looks very interesting.
Any reason for such
a discounted valuation? The quarterly investor conference
of Noble Roman’s, Inc. (NROM),today, revealed some great
promotional plans.I think they are in the chase.
They did confirm that they are
going to center their new venues,
of current focus, in their base
area in Indiana. Some people may want to see
out of state growth, however,
they stated (and I agree with
them) that they would only
consider it, if they found
a very strongly experienced
franchisee.An interesting point of
accounting: apparently somebody
had actually read one of their
loan contracts,and apparently it has a near-term
expiration, yet the lenders who fashioned it, are aware of a
covenant subordinating it,behind longer duration debt
in payment order, therefore, they don’t actually expect it to be paid as a near
term liability,it’s probably only a means
for the lender to try to front
run other creditors as much as
possible, in the event of
a default event, and he seemed strangely
disappointed, that it was
actually a long-term liabilityhe had argued that it should
have been listed under
short-term liabilitiesby the nature of its wording,
rather than the nature of it’s
actual functionan interesting point
of loan accounting.also it sounds like one of
the malls they are in,
overcharged them for certain
upkeep expensesthey expressed a firm
displeasure with thisand with reason, it probably
nicked a good penny, or such,
from their earningsAnyway, I came away from
the conference with the verdict
of a good healthy business.(a satisfied shareholder)
“. . . we recently … signed
an agreement to purchase
a 200,000 square-foot fulfillment
facility . . .”an idea of the goodly spending
they are laying down to growsounds like they are going for it
the new board member seems
to fit in with that mindwith all that, they stayed even
for the quarter, making $22,000,
or about zero cents per sharefiguring 35 million shares
and 55 million in revenueI’d give IVFH a 6 to 12 month
target of about 1 x revenuethat is 150¢ ($1.50)
even if you choose to discount
that 33%, you get 100¢ ($1.00)“What do you want?
Eggs in your beer?”in reply to: TSS, Inc. (TSSI) #12408Another good conference call,
today, from TSS, Inc. (TSSI).I am comfortable with the
explanations for the unsweetness
of the quarterly run numbers.Importantly, the balance sheet
is status quo (unchanged). If there is some soured selling,
it might produce some interesting
opportunities.I think you mean to ask:
why am I making posts about it,because I would be surprised if
Faris is not still following it,after all, it’s not like
following McDonald’snot exactly a daily newser
An even more curious question
is: why do I make posts in a
ghost forum.to tell you the truth
I like ghost forumsI like empty stores
and deserted streets
aside from all that though,
there’s always a chance that
somebody will say something
valuablenot many forums have a chance
to receive a careful comment
from Mr. Sleem, Mr. Rice,
or Mr. Bremen (hope I got
the spelling right).everyone here seems sincerely interested in making a money,
and not anything elsewhenever you have a public forum people start making posts for reasons
as far as NROM goes
I don’t have a lot of Bowser
stocks, and I had never bought
a restaurant stock before
in my life, and a certain person
made a post in this forum,
(do you remember who it was?)I got interested in it’s value
and I suppose I was a bit
motivated by the notion of
Esprit De CorpsBOING! then comes the
sell recommendationI think I understand Faris’
point of view, and I don’t
disagree with itI’m simply willing to except
the narrower long-term gain
potential, in this case, than
he would like to see in his
standing recommendations.Noble Roman’s, Inc. (NROM)

August in Russian is Август
(A-v-g-oo-s-t = А-в-г-у-с-т)I mention this because
I had originally thought
that the name Roman’s Pizza
was Polish, and was a cute
double entendre.Roman is a fairly common Polish,
Russian, and Eastern European
first name. After all, the Roman Empire
is considered to have ended
around 500, and Columbus
did not discover the land
of tomatos until about
1,000 years later. No one in the Roman Empire,
ever ate tomatos, or even
tomatoes. Take your pick.Though, I wouldn’t be surprised
if they made pizzas (pizzi?)
with something else.I looked it up,
the plural of pizza
is pizze.pizza pizzas (English)
pizza pizze (Italian)
пицца пиццы (Russian)
looks like:
p-ee-ts-ts-a p-ee-ts-ts-ee
and guess what, sounds like:
pizza pizzi
