I have some GASS and BTEGF. GASS underperformed BTEGF.

Anyhow, it was a good thing to have some oil stocks to balance out the portfolio during the down market in the past few months.

    Darlene,

I still have BTE (now BTEGF), this is a very good one to hold, particularly when considering the high oil price now.

The other one, GEN ( now GENN) was a real terrible one. The company announced to do a voluntary delist and the price dropped like hell. I sold the stock right away after the announcement, took a loss. I have never bought a stock that performed voluntary delisting, but bought one that just sold their business and gave the proceeds to the stock holders before stopping doing business and delisted. Somehow, the stock GENN still listed and selling around $.15 after a year. That previous announcement was a fake news or some other reason that prevented it from delisting? I guess there will be a class action lawsuit later for investors like me taking a loss because of such a delisting decision.

Mitchell Card seemed rather positive on MACE.

I bought MACE’s stun device from Amazon mainly because I am a stock holder and want to test out OUR company’s product.

When I mean TEST OUT, I don’t mean testing it on actual human body. When I tested it in front of my wife, she got scared and
jumped away from me. The product is O.K.

One thing I didn’t like was MACE did not include even a little piece of paper of instructions in a generic small box (no marking).
This is not a good way to sell a product to the customers.

If someone will attend the MACE stock holder’s meeting, hope he/she can bring this matter up to the executives of MACE.

I added MACE position @.29 several months ago. Still no signs of moving up.

Maybe we should consider the new wave of “Crypto Currency Mining” stocks instead of the traditional gold mining stocks.

I am still trying to figure out how a strong computer with multiple CPUs and graphics cards can help you do the mining of crypto currency.

    Kind of difficult to understand.

Gold mining stocks had moved up already. Maybe there are some bargains left in other mining sectors.

I have one gold mining stock that had depressed price for a decade, and it moved up 200%+ in the past couple years.

Years ago I planned to open an account with Robinhood and found out that you cannot trade whatever stocks that you want. The number of stocks that can be traded there was limited.

Since I am one who like to trade small company stocks, there is high possibilities that it is not in the list that can be traded through Robinhood .

So, I dropped the idea of opening an account there.

Maybe I haven’t made myself clear enough. What I meant by a bankrupted company is one that has no stock symbol ( not even with a “Q” attached to the original symbol). This company might have filed for Chapter 13 Liquidation. To identify the stock in a brokerage account, maybe it just has a nine digit alphanumeric ID.

I know this is a rare situation, but can happen. Just curious about it.

I believe NHLDW has no call terms, I like it.

    Dear Ralph and Bass3,

There is also one very important feature about stock warrants. That is the call terms. When the stock warrant is in the money, the company can redeem the warrant at a minimal price, usually at $.05 a share, when a certain price has been reached for so many days.

I have seen people originally enjoying healthy profit of their warrants and all of a sudden the warrants got called/redeemed by the company and the profit turned into almost a total loss. That is because they bought the warrants without knowing the call terms. So, be very careful about this!

    Good investing!

Thanks for the info Thomas. If it is a stock warrant that is another matter. Warrants do have expiration date and call terms for redemption.

Warrant Registers was part of the Bowser Report several years ago. I am one of those who like to get stock warrants. I have some NHLD warrants too. Since Bowser Report is not supporting the Warrant Register any more, we subscribers whoever found some warrants can exchange information here by posting their findings. How about that! If you know about other warrants, please share you list here.

This is surely a bad news for the company being delisted. It will downgrade the stock from the original stock exchange to a even smaller exchange, sometimes pushing the delisted stock to the pink sheet. That means you may not just type the stock’s symbol to get real time quotes for some stocks, and sometimes cannot just enter the symbol of the stock to make trades without the assistance of a broker. No matter what, a stock delisted will get less and less attention from the general public/investors.
