Another up week, this time a slight 0.4%
For the second straight week, the Bowser Microcap Stock Index closed up. The Index climbed slowly throughout the week, after a 0.1% step back on Monday. Then, on Friday, the Index checked back again, this time just another 0.1%. From Monday's close to Thursday's close, the Index gained 0.7% for a weekly closing high of 515.07. Thursday alone, the microcap stock index rose 0.5%. There was an error reporting Tuesday's results, so we have omitted them from the chart below. Bowser Microcap Stock Index Update 03/08/13 to 03/15/13
The Bowser Microcap Stock Index was second from the bottom amongst the major indexes last week. The Russell 2000 led the way with a 1.1% gain, while the Dow Jones and S&P 500 posted modest 0.8% and 0.6% gains, respectively. The NASDAQ Composite was the only major index that we report on to post a loss for the week. It lost a very slight 0.05%

There were no changes to the Index's companies this week.
