A boat that takes in water,
in fair weather, is to be
considered with suspicion.
A boat that takes in water,
during a hurricane, is to be
considered with a degree of
less suspicion.
Either one can go down.
However, the question of complete
abandonment, on the grounds
of intrinsic taking on of water,
are not parallel, however.
